Excercise 2.

Questions that can help find confidence

When was a time I had to do something new I never done before and I nailed it?
How many new skills have I learned in the past 10 years? How confident I was when I started and how confident I am now?
What was the scariest thing you had to deal with and how did you overcome?
Can you remember the time when you thought you can’t do something but you had to do it, and in the end you managed and it turned out well.
What are the things you tell yourself when you have to face a challenge to overcome?
Do you count every step as part of your progress to meet a goal/master a skill?
How often do we compare ourselves with others and how is that impacting us?
Can we see others success/achievement as motivation or is rather a challenge?
How can competition boost confidence? Do we see as being part of a team/group good enough to compete as competence or rather feel the pressure to win only?
What are the areas we are the most confident in and why? What are the areas we feel least confident in and why?

Exercise 3.

Questions to ask to understand your current state better

When was the last time you laughed from the heart?
When did you cried last time?
What can really piss you off?
What can make you really happy?
What makes you frustrating?
Is there a mistake you can’t forgive? For yourself and for others, are those the same?
What are you the most proud off?
What is your biggest achievement?
What scares you most?
Do you believe in yourself and if not, why not? Or is there some aspects you believe in you, some you don’t, what are those?
If money was not a problem, how would your life/ideal day look like?
What are the things you have improved in the past years?
What do you want to improve/change in your life and/or personality?
How do you “punish” yourself for thing not done/achieved/mistakes etc?
How do you reward yourself for a job well done?

Exercise 4.

Wheel of life

Mark on the sheet where you are now in those areas of your life. If there is something you would like to change to a different subject feel free to do so.

Once you have your current state, mark where do you want to be in those categories. The one with the biggest gap is likely the one most urgent for you to change.

Exercise 5.

Magic wand exercise

Write down ten things you would like to accomplish the next 12 months

If you would have a magic wand, which one would you make come true in the next 24 hours?

That is your most important goal. You can pick the top 3 if they can be worked on simultaneously, or group together those that are related and can serve towards the same goal. E.g. eating healthy and exercising.

Then make a plan step by step to make them happen, and do something to achieve it within 24 hours.
